Rachel is a Tampa native that is happy to call this dynamic city her home-town. After graduating college and moving back to Tampa, Rachel began her career in the corporate world and would always volunteer in her spare time by hosting events to raise funds and awareness for various causes. She gained invaluable skills in leadership, organization, relationship building and teamwork. Shortly after graduation, she realized that working in the corporate arena was not fulfilling for her and wanted to focus more on non-profit work and special events. She is the co-owner of Core Concepts; a Tampa based event planning and catering company and is the co-founder and President of High Hopes in High Heels.
Rachel has had the opportunity to work for Florida Hospital Tampa Foundation and Alpha House of Tampa assisting with development and special events. Her experience with nonprofit organizations heightens her understanding of our philanthropic partners’ needs and the importance of their mission as well as their fundraising goals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband & step son, traveling as much as possible, FSU football, and laughing with family and friends.
